8 Manifestation! I asked my Manager, the Law of Attraction, to bring me people who are in harmony with my current intent ... and what do you know! I received two e-mails from Joy, the cutest boy in our English camp with Korean students in 2002! Joy has brought me joy! I am so happy!
He brought back delightful memories of Marinduque, Mindoro, and Westlife's song, "My Love."

7 I appreciate my world.
I appreciate my life.
I appreciate my circle(s) of friends.
I appreciate myself!
6 I appreciate the banana, potato, carrot, cabbage, pechay, and spinach that I ate today. Food is my friend.
5 I appreciate it that Susan lent me 23 of her video compact discs. It is good to have access to Stephen Chow's "Kung Fu Hustle" and watch its amazing stunts and special effects. Its humor is wonderful, too! I think this is my first time to see a movie at home and really laugh out loud.
4 Wow! I tuned in to DZRB Radyo ng Bayan 738 khz just in time to hear the Pope saying, "Filipino: Maligayang pagkabuhay ni Kristo!" Cool timing! I appreciate that.
3 I appreciate **** words: "It is good that you have that experience --- to live with a 2-year-old."
"My grandmother was the only decent woman I ever knew. She was strong in her faith and spirituality, just like you."
"You are the innocence I never was."
2 I appreciate it that my A******* friend D*** and I are getting along well.
1 I appreciate this short story that was written for me.
The Path
by the Bard
As I approach your school, I see you standing outside with a few of your students - laughing and smiling. I can see and feel the love they have for you. I smile. God! How your true spirit warms me inside.
You know not what I have planned, but I e-mailed you and asked you to come with me after work, as there was something I wanted to share. We wave goodbye to the kids as we drive off into the failing light of the day.
As the orange glow forms, the crimson sky caresses your skin. It only enhances the beauty you offer in abundance. I turn off the main road, toward the coast. The winding road ascends to a sheer cliff overlooking the ocean to the western sky.
I park, look at you and smile, not saying a word. I run around to open your door, take your hand, and raise you from your seat. I lead you to the front of the car and lay down a blanket. As we settle, the pallette of color laid before us is breathtaking. I jump up as I remember to put music on. I have compiled all these files we shared over the years. I smile as I listen and return to our blanket.
I stop as I watch you smiling, admiring your view, and singing merrily to the music loftily filling out airspace. I sit beside you. We laugh, sing, hold each other.
As the sun fades deeper, the crimson turns a deep purple and gradually turns to black. "Oh my god! Baby, look!" As the full moon rises, we can see dolphins break the surface of the still waters before us ... their wake rippling in the moon's brilliant light. I take your hand, look in your eyes, smile, and say not a word. I don't need to.
I search the night sky and see a star. I giggle, look at you and say, "This bright spot in the universe will forever be known as **** *****."
I softly kiss your cheek as you smile. A single tear drops from your magical eyes and slowly nurtures your smooth, precious cheek. "Is this love?" I ask myself. "If not, I know not what love is."
You lie with your head on my chest as I stroke your hair gently. You fade off to sleep in my arms.
I wake you as the warm sun rises. As your eyes open, again appear our dolphins. I help you up. We drive off and you look back as if our place here should never go. I look at you and say, "Baby, as with our love, we shall return whenever our hearts need to. Take this with you as a token of love and feel the inner peace it relays."
We arrive at our tiny home, as we are greeted by our next best friend ... our dog, ****.
Ahhh! Life is grand.
